The Grounds

Throughout the year, as each season gives its own character to the garden, you will find here a place for peace, contemplation and a wonderfully relaxing holiday. 

The grounds have come to maturity over almost 200 years. They offer something special to mark out the year.  Daffodils and bluebells give way to the magnolia flowers of early Spring.  The glory of the gardens are the rhododendron and azalea of May and June which preface the luscious greens of full Summer. All is crowned by the Autumn tones of maple and beech.
